orange savings account to the max
Yeah so today isn’t going so bad. Ate an everything bagel with plain cream cheese (Philadelphia with 1/3 less fat if you are that curious). Ended up in the library at around 10:15. Logged on to the interwebz. And then I learned that my orange savings account is earning more interest.
I’ve had this savings account for almost a year. I saw the ads for years but was too lazy to sign up. It is sort of a pain. The initial sign up process is not that bad. Maybe took me ten minutes or so to enter in all the information. You will probably need to have a check on hand to get your banking and routing number. After signing up you will need to wait for several days for them to put two small deposits into your checking account. They do this to verify your identity. I didn’t have to wait for my monthly statements though because I have online banking. Muhahahahaha….
Yeah so that’s it. It took me less than an hour overall. It’s funny that I didn’t do it sooner considering how easy it was. O well… I probably lost out on a decent amount of beer money by being too lazy to switch.
So if you’re reading this post, you know what to do! Get an online bank account of course. But don’t be lazy as well!
